...Yesterday I spent hours looking for good affordable packaging for Himself's choccies.
Because we don't (yet) own a sneeze counter, everything is packed into cello bags and tied with pretty ribbon etc. We then found some fab packaging boxes which are made from sustainable resouces and/or use recycled materials. They look like little treasure chests made from natural or black corrugated cardboard - soooo sweet!
Anyway, the next thing was carrier bags. People will buy £30 or £40 worth of chocolate without blinking, and need something to carry it in. We wanted recycled paper bags but they are extortionate. So, in the end I found this company

I've just bought 400 black paper carriers measuring 22 x 9 x 21 cms for £66! This works out at 16p per bag. This is cheapest we've found out of literally hundreds of companies so I thought I'd pass the news around! Next time we order we're going to get custom bags printed for both Himself and myself.
