second design in purple

As promised here is my second of two new designs. this one is made with purpleheart, bois violet. it is the natural colour of the wood, no dyes.

now i know your all disparate to see this so dont trip over yourselves trying to sneak a peak, form an orderly cue please.

I really like the pen, the hours you must of put in to make so lovely.
I tried a post a picture of what my husband and I make in wood but I have not posted enough yet.

well come on JCM get posting, and get those pictures posted. As for the work involved, well a lot of it is mainly hanging around letting nature take its course while the wood stabilizes otherwise it can crack. i guess like many craft the work is in the finishing.

im preparing some pink ivory, pink wood and some bloodwood, beautiful red. i think they will go well with the recent group i have made. i think a white one would look good too but not too many white woods that stay white.
