Just need a cyber hug!!!

been having back problems for a long time now and I have finally been diagnosed with coccygodynia! :o and hypermobility syndrome (loose joints!! :p

just been to see my specialist, Ive already had spinal manipulation and corticosteroid injections which didnt work and NOW he wants to surgically remove my coccyx!! :jaw:

Have had prolotherapy instead, an injection of irritant to rebuild my ligaments and my goodness does it hurt!!!:o

Sitting here, all alone on my special cushion feeling very sorry for myself, hugs gratefully recieved!:(

you poor thing send you a big hug and hope your pain calms down i find taking my tablets with alchohol works well but not recommended hope they sort you out soon back pain is the worst you darent move

Beadstudio, that sounds really, really, really painful. I am glad that you have a diagnosis now and hopefully the in the longer term you can get some relief from the pain.

The injections and surgery sound very serious.

Oh Beadstudio isnt it a good job your condition isnt aggravated by laughing too hard! You can certainly always rely on that here if nowhere else :mf:

Arent our coccyx's just vestigial tails or something? (hope vestigial's the right word or I may have said something super naughty!)

So unless you're planning doing much wagging, maybe its better off than on

You poor poor thing, you have my sympathy :( and you also have hubby's too - he's had loads of problems with his coccyx and currently has an abscess over it resulting in the doc signing him off for the week as too painful to sit (he's been lying in bed all week....no change there then!)
