I don't know if anyone in my area is interested but there's a regular jumble sale on at St. Dyfrigs church, Treforest. On every 6 weeks or so. But yesterday I picked up a big (carrier bag!) of different zips, a bag of toy stuffing and lots of interesting materials to play with!

My 2 kids were happy too - daughter added more to her barbie collection and son got a plastic cricket bat (he's 3, he's easily pleased!)

If anyone is interested in a good rummage, I'll post the next one's date!

I only wish I lived nearer. Jumble sales are my favourite hobby. They are far too rare in these days of car boots and ebay. Every one wants to sell their own unwanted stuff for cash rather than donate it to someone else to sell. **sobbing quietly** :0(

Glad you got some fab bargains too. And the kids being happy is an extra bonus :0)

I know what you mean! We lived in Bournemouth before we moved here and I didn't find ANY in 5 years. Had to rely on car boot sales instead. Not the same though!
