Hail, thunder + lightening !!

There I was in the garden sunshine one minute enjoying a tea break... and then next the heavens open and the lawn is bouncing with little white balls..

:o Anyone else having this mad spring weather today ... ?

Its beautiful weather here, from what i can see out of the window on the sofa.

Yesterday we had little white balls bouncing. I went out to collect some and stuff down best mates back!
They melted by the time i'd got back in!

It's been sunny here all day, but we have been promised heavy rains. They'll probably start up just in time for going home from work (as usual).

how random is that! we had a little rain but now its nice and sunny.
We havnt had a thunderstorm here for ages. I love a good thunderstorm

Oooh yeah. When it goes really dark in the middle of the day and there's forked lightning and really loud thunder and heavy rain.

it's been a bit barmy here to. Not a day seems to go by without at least one shower of hail or snow.
Last weekend my chickens saw their first proper fall off snow, and they didn't like it one little bit! I had to pick them up one at a time and carry them to the run so the didn't have to walk on it!!!
Nice and sunny here today, but just had a really heavy downpore.

I was at my mums yesterday and we had very strange weather - bright sunshine, really fat rain, hailstones and even at one stage a flurry of snow!! I helped mum bring in the washing from the garden during a nasty hailstorm and we both came back in with red marks on our faces from the hailstones - ouch!! Good job we both wear glasses!!

I took my dogs for a walk this morning and it was SNOWING - heavily. I couldnt believe it!. Within half an hour the fog had come down so we could hardly see 10ft in front of us, over lunchtime it has been really warm sunshine and NOW! well Now its hailstones!!!.

what is it with this weather?!?.

I'd got all my washing out, blowing nicely, put Livi up for nher afternoon sleep and by time i got downstairs it was pouring! :mad:

I was staying with my sister in Dorset when the heavens opened. The hail came down really fast and left it's white frozen baubles on the roof of my car and yet 20mins later the sun was shining and the roads were drying out. Weird :confused:

It's been freaky weather past few days here too, maybe the weatherman's gone barmy and thrown all his labels on the map at once and left it unattended
