I went out last night and got home this morning at 10.00am with dry roads and brilliant sunshine. By 10.30 the snow had begun falling and it hasn't stopped. Here are a few photos I took in the garden! I'm very excited because this is the heaviest snow we've had in years and I just want to keep going outside - I'm 32 for heaven sake! hehe

My pics are on the 'snow' thread. These are great. I love the second one. It feels like you're in a blizzard just looking at it. Poors daffs tho'...

I enjoyed looking at your photos, I am also in Eastbourne, and
I haven't ever seen snow like this and I have lived here for 25 years.

Shaz, i agree with you i am the same, now in my 40's (not saying how far in!!) and love it and feel upset when we don't get it.

I recon we had about 3-4 inches during the time it lasted, from about 7am until about 11am - although most now gone some of the roof's still have snow on them.

I even went for a drive this afternoon to hunt for snow but most had gone :(

However the last time we had a snow storm like this was..............um can't remember & we have got 2 cats who are now 7 and i don't think they have ever seen snow!!
