Snow!!!!

So who's got snow?! Woke up this morning and everywhere is covered. I wasn't expecting that at all. It was quite bizarre to be out having a snowball fight and seeing a bumble bee fly past!!

Yes we have snow here, thankfully it is now melting.

I am so glad I said no to doing the craft fair in Alresford today!!!! Even all my fleece blankets wouldn't have kept me warm!!!

We've got around 4 inches of snow here and I think we'll get more overnight. Just got back from a lovely walk in it.

Yep, snow here near Reading.
Got up, saw something odd out the corner of my eye, saw the entire garden covered in thick snow.Very pretty but luckily its mostly melted now.

It's been snowing here is newcastle since about 10:30 but it isn't lying. It's that awful slushy messy stuff at the moment!

Mind you the sky is very cloudy, and lots of mist , and it does have that sort of pre-snow feel!

It was a beautiful covering of snow here in Salisbury this morning, the dogs loved it. All of it gone now and lovely and sunny.

It started here last night, lots of lovely big fat flakes coming down fast before I went to bed :)

So LOTS of snow this morning but the sun's melted most of it by now - cos I live in a valley, you get this wonderful phenomena of my hill at the back having the sun full on it so the grass turned green again, but the front hill was still in the shade so it stayed pure white - so I often sit in my through-lounge seeing two entirely different kinds of weather depending which window I look out of, its cool :D

On the Wirral there was a light covering of snow this morning but it has melted and is now a beautiful but somewhat chilly day. Did I sound like an announcer on the weather forecast then? In my head I put on a posh voice whist typing it. he he!! Sue xx:sm:

We had snow overnight in Leamington, it looked gorgeous but didn't last long as the sun has been shining all day. None left now for snowball fights.

We have the odd flutter coming down in Bath, and had to bring in the washing.

If i was in Reading, like i usually am i would have been building a snowman this morning. Apparently they had a sprinkling overnight. So jealous.

We had great big fat gobs of snow coming down this morning - the streets were all white, the cars were just about buried and now, the sky is blue, the sun is shining and I've got the windows open!!!! Go figure.

Thank goodness it's all melted here but there's meant to be more on the way later today. I hate the snow!! If it stays off until I've been to the garage and into town I'll be pleased!

...well, none at all in our village.

Sunday we drove out to Cheddar to go to the boot sale, and were shocked to see they had snow.

After nipping around the boot, too cold for many bootsalers, we drove home the scenic route through the Gorge. Every little branch had a covering, so the snow must have been powdery but heavy. The Gorge was stunning. So stunning that we took a wrong turning and got lost. We ended up in Wells via Wookey Hole!

It was a lovely drive though. Most of the snow in Cheddar had gone by the time we drove back through from Wells.

It's cold here, but clear today. Had a lovely trip up to Tetbury to put up our posters for the Fair on Saturday.
