I'm stood in the kitchen at the back of the house typing this with no wires or anything!! I regularly do the cuteable posts while the girls are in the bath and it's great!! I sit on the loo but obviously not ON the loo! I had a laptop where I couldn't take it off charge as the battery was rubbish but this one lasts ages! Whoooo hooooo! I actually logged on to ask about aomething else but then realised that the photo's I need are still on the camera and I can't be bothered to get the adaptor thing!
Gosh this was bit of a rambling post - maybe I'm excited about the fact that I'm doing this in the kitchen!

however my lappy is not so nice to me, my battery only lasts a little while before it dies!

im on a wireless laptop but the battery only lasts about an hour so i have to be near a plug not to bad though as i can sit and watch tv or go in my craftroom with it but i seem to be using it a lot since ive found the forum:)

yep . isn't WIFI just grand!

The battery on my laptop 's quite reasoable, but unfortunately, if it isn't plugged in, the screen is quite dark!so I always leave it plugged in , just carry the lead with me when I go somewhere ( luckily it's quite long) and when we rewired the house, I had the forethought to make sure there were plenty of sockets everywhere!( must have been a psychis moment, thinking ahead to laptop/wifi days:D)

all we need now is a laptop carrier.

how about one of the textile type peops, designing one. sort of like those frontal baby carrying thingies ( been a while now, can't remember what they're called!) with a few extra pockets to put leads/ external mouse/headphones in, and a cushioned base so it sits comfortably on one's lap!
Could be the next big thing! so get your thinking caps on ladies ( and gents of course)

i dont know what i would do without wireless interweb. im led in bed at the moment, waiting for one foot in the grave to come on, with my laptop on my knee.

my laptop has a long life, about 4 - 6 hours, depending on what im doing with it.

earlier i was in the kitchen watching a program on iplayer. was wonderful!
