My first day

D'ya know what I realised this morning? That I havent been the "new girl" at work since 1989!......yes 1989.....at work......new girl.....not a girl anymore......sodit, of course I am! :mf:

First day went well, very nice people, left home at 7.15 got there at 8 not due to start til 8.30 (oops kids are off arent they, forgot bout that)

Methinks I'll be bushed by the end of this week cos, as freaky timing would have it, I have 3 evening businessy things lined up too which start at 6pm back in Rossendale - one Tue, one Thu, one Fri :playball:

Serves me right for lounging about for 2 years :p

It's a bit daunting being the 'new girl' (yes, girl ;)) but is it's much less scary when the peeps are nice.

Glad you first day went well - enjoy being the new girl doesn't last long until you feel like you are part of the furniture again.

Just having a quick forum catch up although its not a proper one, have to save that for weekend :mf:

Just blogged what I was up to last night - you shoulda seen the guy who did an "entrepreneur" type presentation for us - guy called Iain Scott with a scumptious scottish accent - kilted and booted - big guy, big smile, shaved head except for 3 bright bright blond stripes of hair at the back!

And guess what? When I came home tonight I had an NLP enquiry message on my phone from a new member of the business group :sm:

....isnt it often the way that once you start taking some big steps for yourself, other things start happening for you...kind of like a little reward :)
