I've been looking everywhere online for some funky moulds. I've seen tarts/melts for sale in the shape of Love Heart sweets, dollar signs, pound signs etc. I can't find any anywhere. Any ideas?

Many thanks x

Melts can be made out of any mould/container that is able to withstand the heat so have a look around the house and see what you have the kids toys are a great source for unusual moulds.

Jo at Sensory Perfection does a range of hard plastic moulds that can be used for soap and melts.

Thanks for that Lisa. I have recently placed an order with Sensory Perfection but am still after unusual moulds. I'm intreagued by your suggestion of kids toys. Can I ask, how would I go about that? Sorry to seem dim but I'm new to this.

Thanks again

A lot of the bakery, playdoh type sets have funky little shapes that are made of plastic and as long as you don't poor too hot they should be okay to use. I got some cookie cutters from lakeland and I use them to cut out shapes to embed in my candles too.
