...I only nipped out today to get a job and its took me piggin ages to catch up with what's bin chatted about whilst I was gone!
Starting Monday guys!
They were really nice and, although its primarily admin/secretarial stuff, its actually a Resource Centre full of various therapists working with special needs groups and the first question was about my NLP Pract cert so who the heck knows what'll come of it!?
Apart from it being a bit further travelling than I'd have liked (but not as far as my old job) it seems spot on for now - full time like I wanted (well not wanted, but needed) slightly better rate than the standard temp scale I was told to expect and theyve already mentioned the chance of job share when the girl comes back off maternity leave and thats not until August or sumat like that - so even though I'd prefer to be a full-time-Keepsake-Kollections-magnate - this will be a huge help for now :)
Thanks for your support and advice lovies

Congratulations on starting so soon!
They must like you as they are talking about the future before you've even began! Lets hope that you enjoy the job, and like you say, something else, you never know, might come out of it.
Remember to have a bath on sunday night and to go to bed early :p
ps: i never thought of temping jobs. i think i might give this a go, part time, until i can get my both my feet on the ground again. thank you for the boost!

Oh Shaz that's fantastic news :mf: well done on getting a job so quickly and brilliant that it starts so soon. It might be admin stuff but it sounds like it'll be an interesting environment to work in.
And I disagree with Sprinkles, no early night as you need to be on here til the wee hours making up for all those hours you'll be at work instead :p

Tee hee
Fight not - even if I try to go to bed early Sunday, I'm bound to be wide wide awake at the thought of doing something brand new next day - specially the length of time I've been off work (praise be to the almighty redundancy god in his wisdom) ;)

Congratulations to you! I'm so pleased for you.
Now, can some of that magic rub off on me please and get me a job next! I too hate this redundancy 'bug' (my bank account doesn't like it much either!).
Well done and good luck tomorrow. Remember to play nice, don't tuck your skirt in your drawers and ENJOY!!

Yep! need some of that to rub off on me too! need to get a job! hubby hasn't been able to wrk now for a few months what with his bad leg, the op, and now physio! , and i sure hasnt helped that the exchange rate £/euro is so lousy this end, cos means we've got a lot less to survive on at the moment!

Its in Oldham babe. Not far from the town centre, near Bluecoat School - its called Rock Street Resource Centre :D
Although I'd have loved to land one a bit closer to home, its worth trying it cos its full time and pretty long term, and the chance of job share later if I fall in love with it! At least its a bit closer than Salford Quays was so I'm getting better :)

At least its not too far for you - just allow extra time for the traffic as it can be a nightmare.
