Grouping crafters by county

Thought I would just echo something I saw earlier on the forum.
I am quite new to the forum and like to read the threads and join in perhaps. I would probably be more inclined to reply to crafters within my area - although it wouldn't stop me from posting threads to all members aswell. Can they be colour coded or something like that? The answer will probably be no - that would be far too easy and we all no that computers don't do easy and straghtforward do they?

I sort of see where you are coming from but the whole idea of a forum is to share advice and knowlege isn't it? Surely if we continue to communicate on a national (and international in some cases!) level we will have access to a much wider knowlege base!

This forum is topical.. And for the UK..

I can only suggest that you would look at other forums that are general but in your area e.g. a friend runs aberdare online.. A forum for people from aberdare www.aberdareonline.co.uk/

We only have some 6,000 members here so spliting them up into area just can't work right now.. Maybe in the future it the forum keeps growing..
