hey,
this post is for those how were interested in a crafts fair i was trying to organise for the last weekend in april.
I am so so so so so so sorry but the venue which i wanted to book is not suitable and there is a real shortage of places around didsbury...i will keep looking and if i find anywhere i will let you all know. But for now there will be no crafts fair weekend 27th april....sorry! at least we know now though that there are planty of us crafters in manchester and that we should all get together somewhere to sell our stuff...keep your eyes peeled for the perfect venue...

sorry again

thanks

Ah well - at least you didn't try and get somewhere which was terrible!

Have you tried any church halls or even a school hall? Or am I stating the obvious?!;)

hi, yeah i have but people are funny about things like this. which is strange. I was trying to get the con club in my village but they wouldnt let me have the keys till 2pm on the sat....(rubbish)
the only other place was in the middle of no-where so i didnt think there would be much point, there is nothing worse than everyone setting up a really nice table for no one to come in!
i am going to keep on thinking about it anyway so at least we know who is interested and i will keep you posted if i find anywhere.
some would say i am taking on too much! nah...
thanks

Hi,
did you try either of the rugby clubs in Didsbury? They don't have massive rooms, but they would open in the morning as I know both of them do car boot sales, also if you had marquee there could be stalls outside. Just a thought if you are struggling to find somewhere.
best wishes :)

Hello!

I'm in Manchester too and would definitely get involved if you were having a fair, or if you need help organising it. What about any of the university buildings? Or the Manchester University Academy, which is inside the students union?

Please keep me updated and I'm sure we can get this off the ground!!

:)
