Hi and Welcome,
I've been doing a bit of research about First Holy Communion and candles are very popular, particularly if they have the child's name on to be used as a keepsake later.
There doesn't seem to be any specific flower associated with the ceremony that I have seen (but one of our fellow forum'ers may correct me on that) I have come across simple bouquets of daffs to roses of every hue, and everything in between.
The best I have seen is a spray of snowdrops, they looked exquisite.
Hopefully one the flower people will be along and will be able to offer something more helpful.
