What are you all up to? Anyone doing anything exciting?

Were going to the in-laws in Liverpool :) No sewing machine for me for a few days, but I will be taking my hooks ;)

Plus hub is off school for 2 weeks now so were hoping to get some decorating done. (YUK!)

I'm off to Dunoon with the kids to visit my parents - I hope the weather holds out because there is nothing worse than being stuck in Dunoon in rotten weather. Need to get a ferry over and it is great in good weather but absolutely nothing to do when it rains. There is one street of shops and most of them are shut on a Sunday (except woolies!!).

Taking an extra big bottle of vodka with me just in case the weather bad;)

Cheers.

Mines already began.
Popped over to Reading for the week to my bestest friend :D

Lazing around doing nothing, but i want my jewellery! Argh! Have to wait until Tuesday now.

I don't know what we will be doing over the weekend.

I fancy a big easter dinner and tea.
Hot cross buns, easter cakes, and choco. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d19/xdomains/smilies/food/24.gif But i dont think the idea will go down too well.
He'll be on the PC killing some alien i bet! http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d19/xdomains/smilies/computer/47.gif

Haven't got anything planned, and we aren't having visitors. This morning we went to my sioster's and dropped off Easter cards & eggs. She's going camping this weekend....in March, I ask you! Silly woman....

The boys will go out later and get me some branches to make the Easter tree with. DD has to collect up my Easter decorations, and they are scattered all over the attic from the last time she went looking for something up there....

Got a huge ham ready to bake overnight tonight, and we're going to roast a couple of legs of lamb for Easter Sunday. One doesn't go far between three growing lads, their Dad and possibly the DD's boyfriend.

There's a hazelnut meringue gateau in one of the foodie magazines that I want to have a stab at making....looks gorgeous!

Yesterday I cut out fabrics to line five wicker baskets with fully reversable linings, so I'd like to get them done this weekend, but difficult to find the time when there's a nocturnal person sleeping in your workroom! The oldest is home from Uni and he doesn't do daylight.....!

Can't wait to open my Bunny present.......:)

Have a great Easter everyone!

I'm flying out to Delhi on Sunday (its sunny and 34C! http://www.paw-talk.net/forums/images/smilies/aug/sun.gif) and then getting a train south to the tiger reserve for a spot of tiger watching (crossing fingers I'll actually see some). There won't be much sitting around for me I expect http://www.paw-talk.net/forums/images/smilies/relax.gif that doesn't happen much on an explore tour.

we were going to go down to our bit of land, prune some olive trees and collet firewood for next winter, and have a big nosh up, cooking some meat on open fire, but the weather is lousy, drizzle (english style)and fog,or low flying cloud rolling in and out, so thats blown that idea out!

Might have to make some easter chocs or something instead

Craft fair Saturday and Sunday, wedding anniversary Monday and annual leave for the rest of the week so lots of chilling and crafting. :)

However, I will have to get the accounts up to date because it's end of year :(

You all sound like you're doing more exciting things than me :(

I'm going to lunch at father's house tomorrow. Saturday am going out with mother shopping somewhere but that's it. Sadly I'm single again (bring out the violin!) and have too much time on my hands. Hopefully on Sunday and Monday I'll feel inspired to tackle some more crafty projects

:nopity: but you know what? Take it as a chance to do whatever the heck you want, whenever you want with whoever you want! :D

Cos no matter how hard we try not to, we always compromise for any OHs in our lives so this is your chance not to compromise for nobody - woo hoo!

I always said that, if I was single for any length of time, I'd take an art class and go the local amateur dramatics shows and...and...and...

I am going away for the weekend, but mainly just looking forward to the sleep in and the hot tub!

Sitting in the beautiful scottish country side, all cosy and warm in the hot tub, GnT in hand, sunshine beating down (the first 3 are true, sunshine may be fictional).

Should be great, good food, good frineds, good gin!

Hope everyone has a lovely easter and enjoys thier secret easter bunny gifts, I am looking forward to opening mine as I won't be getting any chocolate :D

Wow everyone will be having fun..
We went out last night, feeling a bit fuzzy today but have to go to work in a minute. The fair is on the sea front over this weekend which will bring people down and into the shop for a warm i think!
Tonight we may go to see a Police tribute band in Ipswich, if i've woken up by then.
Tomorrow ill be working in the Colchester shop and Sunday will probably have to make more ice cream for Bank Holiday Monday.
I've actually got Mon off yippppeee, have arranged to go out with two girly friends in the evening so will probably be lounging around during the day.
Oh and of course ill be taping the Ice Skating World Championships so i can watch it in between activities!!
Have fun all..

We were going to go camping this weekend up at my sisters (she works on a campsite right on the edge of Windermere) but with the temperature due to get to -4 we thought it would be a bit cold for the girlies! Matt is cooking tea tonight - chicken and cous cous with that marmalade hot cross bun thing that Jamie Oliver has been doing on the tv. Tomorrow we are popping up to my sisters to go for a walk round the lake - well the bit that is on the campsite - and then over to my mum and dads in the afternoon. It's their 30th wedding anniversary on Tuesday so we wanted to deliver the present and take them out for a meal on Sunday. There's also a big car boot on near theirs on a bank holiday weekend so we might pop into that too!

Got nowt planned!! Staying in today just in case Samuel has a repeat of yesterday (see my other thread!) but so far he's been ok.:)

Tommorow is Mum and Dads as usual for a Saturday.

And then don't know what!:mf:

I've been quite productive today - made I think 7 cards and doing some Woody from Toy Story toppers. I had cleared all my work to make 100+ engagement party invites but she can't decide which one to go for out of the 5 samples I gave her!! So at least I can catch up on some of the things I've been putting off for ages due to being tooooooo busy!!:mf::mf::mf:

Hope today is going well Shaz and that Bacup is not too cold (although from experience its dammed cold there!) and hope that NY is good Janice - are you saving the card and cake topper until they get back??!!:D
