See now, everytime the little box says

"Your PM box is 90% full"

I never fail but to talk back to the PC screen and say

"is it?"

Now I know it definitely cant just be me that does things like that?!

We have a little message that says "your virus database has been updated" which is actually audible in an american accent (when the speakers are on). I always reply with a "why thank you" in an equally american accent!
On the whole I do talk to my computer all the time. It takes quite a bit of abuse at a certain time each month when I have a tendancy to get VERY impatient!
Poor 'pooter'!

Think we would all be carted away if anyone saw us all having conversations with our computers. I sympathise with Roseberry Crafts as there is a printer at the place I do some bookkeeping which has an american accent and it says "printing started" "printing finished" and this morning I said "I can see that" (again in that american accent). Oh well, I suppose there are worse things we could be doing!!

I don't talk to the computer but sadly I do have conversations aimed at telly programmes.Naturally i also talk to my two cats and the dog all day long - far better company than the OH and son most of the time!

My home computer is so slow (because of the amount of bumph I have on it and it doesn't exactly have the biggest memory on the planet) so it gets sworn at quit frequently - generaly work you !!! get the picture!!

My computer said that it had a problem with Windows, so I moved it to the opposite side of the room.

Sometimes I beg my computer, as in 'Please, please, please....I'll never be horrible to you again....'

Other times, especially with my old laptop, I threaten it....'You are on borrowed time, pal!' Which it was because I bought a new one.

But mostly what I say to my computer is unprintable.....!!
