I've just bought myself a little Sewland Overlocker (SM1091) from Ebay but it has no instruction manual.
Does anyone know where I can get an online one or alternatively has anybody got one and can do me a copy?

I haven't got an instruction book to help you but I have had an over locker for many years and may be able to help.
Most of them are fairly straight forward. You don't need to buy loads of different colour threads like a sewing machine, as the stitches don't show most darker fabric can be sewn with dark grey or navy/petrol blue and lighter colours with cream or beige.
There is usually a small diagram inside the cover or coloured dots to show where the thread goes. If the machine is already threaded then you can tie a new thread to the old one and either run the machine with a scrap piece of fabric and it will rethread for you - though you may need to re-thread the needle or pull the threads through by hand. The main problem with them is the tension it can take quite a while to set it up right and once done it is best left alone.
If you want more advice about threading or tensioning please let me know as I don't want to bore you with lots of unneeded complicated stuff.

I have the exact same machine, pm me your address and I'll send you a photocopy. I'd e-mail it but my home computer is playing up, better by snail mail. I have to say I have not used the machine yet, I was given it by a friend of my mums and I never got any feed back from her good bad or indifferent. Please do this as soon as possible if you want me to send it as I am off for a week from friday and won't be able to check on the forum...:)

Silvermaid - it is currently threaded and there is a little diagram but I like to have a book "just in case".
The tension looks OK (there's a piece of material in there) so I won't touch any buttons until I need to.
TwoHoots - thank you very much - I've PM'd you
