welcome to the forum...our very own forum tattooist! (sp!) I just had the one on my foot re done, i got it done last summer on a whim & the quality wasnt great, so went to my fellas tattooist & its loads brighter & sharper.

They are sooo addictive! I want one going down the side of my back, along the bottom of my back and coming down my botty if that actually makes sense..lol! Maybe if I spent less time on here & more time trying to design something it might be done already.....lol!

hi again, hope you have fun on here..

If I was a bloke I would be covered in them, had my first one at 14 (bit of a rebel lol) and my last one end of last year. I have a celtic design on the small of my back, a dragon going down my hip, my foot one and ones I hate on my shoulders

I'm only playing at it, just got this one at the base of my back, had her done by Louis Molloy at his place in Middleton 3/4 years agao cos I lived near his studio at the time and he was recommended by my bro-in-law who'd had his tattoos done by him years ago

I got my tattoo done when i was 21, my parents still dont know about it now :p

Im going for a cluster of pink stars next with a black outline!

I just hated the part after the tattoo, the dried blood and the bits of crusty stuff falling off. Was sooo hard not to pick it off :p

Focus on Life
18-03-2008, 12:16 AM
Oh I didnt get any of that crusty flaky aftermath thankfully - was recommended to keep putting a well known pile cream on it regularly - but I cant remember the name of it now - it worked for me anyway! :)

I had my first done when I was 35, its a tiny cluster of blue stars on the top of my arm and then 2 years ago I had sort of tribal swirly thing on my ankle, the pointy bit hurt a little, LOL, Selina

Hi Mark (welcome) to the forum.

It's really nice to hear of other people's tattoos and see the designs :D

I have a red breasted swallow on my tummy. I had it done 8 years ago when I was 19. I would love to have more but my current boyfriend doesn't approve! http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/rolleye/rolleye0001.gif (http://www.mysmiley.net/freesmiley.php?smiley=rolleye/rolleye0001.gif)

Enjoy your time here and can't wait to see examples of your work.

thankyou again:) for new tattoos i would say that bepanthan is the best cream, although pile cream is just as effective.

Hi and welcome. I had my tattoo done at 41 when i split up with a really "straight" stifling boyfriend! Mine is a salamander on my shoulder done by Lal Hardy - I'm sure you will have heard of him as he's done celebs apparently. Most of the time I forget it is there as I don't see it but its great when somebody makes a positive comment.

(welcome) and hello from me too!

I've not got any tattoos nor had my ears done as I'm a bit soft but can take childbirth with no problems and no screaming!!

Spent quite a bit of time in a tattoo studio when I was 17 doing a project on body adornment. Loved the atmosphere and got to watch a few too!!:D
